What are the deadlines for submitting documents for the agenda?

Action items and information items are due in the Office of the Vice President and Secretary of the University by 10:00 a.m. on the Friday two weeks before the meeting.

Retirement memoirs from the retiree's department and all supporting materials from HR are due in the Office of the Vice President and Secretary of the University by 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday three weeks before the meeting.

To ensure our office receives the necessary materials from HR by our deadline, you should submit all personnel forms to the appropriate HR office two months prior to retirement. We cannot process a memoir without the proper support materials from HR, and HR will not release the materials to us until they have received the retirement paperwork from the department.

At the time you submit the forms to HR or as soon thereafter as possible, please send an electronic version of the memoir to Cary Varney.

How do I submit instructional or academic administrative staff appointments or changes?

All items pertaining to instructional or academic administrative staff appointments or changes must go through the appropriate human resources office. HR processes these items and then sends the necessary documents to the Office of the Vice President and Secretary. The deadlines for HR items are earlier than other Regents Communications (see "Helpful Documents" below).

What do I need to send when I submit documents for the agenda?

When sending Regents' communications to the Office of the Vice President and Secretary of the University, here are some things to know:

Send the original plus 38 copies. Multiple-paged documents should be double-sided and must be collated. Do not staple or paper clip documents.

How do I sign up to use the media equipment for a presentation during the meeting?

Registration to use the media equipment in the Regents' Room for presentations during a Regents' meeting is handled by Information Systems Shared Support. The equipment is only available to official presenters and cannot be used by public comments speakers.
